Sergey Bilostenniy Claims Another Stoppage With Single Left Hook

Sergey Bilostenniy is a former Army hand-to-hand combat athlete who studied at Russian State University of Physical Culture and Sports. A pupil of Maxim Guzovsky and Robert Drysdale, Bilostenniy has won eight of his last 10 fights. He fell to Valentin Moldavsky in the first round of this year’s Heavyweight World Tournament.

 

Karl Williams is a wrestling specialist who comes into tonight with a 10-3 sport. An Xtreme Couture product, Williams first appeared in the PFL during the 2022 PFL Challenger Series. Williams then was elevated on mere days’ notice to face Oleg Popov in the first round of the World Tournament, giving a strong effort but losing a decision.

The fight resumes. The two swing in an exchange. Bilostenniy circling on the outside. Bilostenniy misses a right, and Williams level changes, pushing Bilostenniy back against the fence. Bilostenniy reverses the position before a break. Left hand lands on the body for Bilostenniy. Right hand misses for Williams. One-two by Williams. Left hand by Bilostenniy. Left hook lands for Bilostenniy, and Williams stumbles and falls to the mat! He’s done!
