Jean-Pierre Saint Louis Wins Pace-Filled, Back-And-Forth Battle

After a decade and 16 fights in professional MMA, Jean-Pierre Saint Louis gets his first crack at the big stage with his PFL debut tonight. A welterweight champion on the regional scene, Saint Louis has scored eight submissions in his 11 victories, and he is currently riding a four-fight win streak. Saint Louis most recently fought in May 2024, submitting Daniel Morrison.

Tyler Ray also makes his PFL debut tonight, sporting the same 11-5 record that Saint Louis has. A Kill Cliff FC product, Ray has five wins via submission. He snapped a losing skid in his last fight, scoring a first-round submission of Carlton Little in November.

Left hand by Ray before he presses for another takedown attempt. Saint Louis goes for a guillotine. Ray lifts and drops him, but he doesn’t shake Saint Louis off. Ray does get his head free, however, and he presses Saint Louis into the fence. Saint Louis with the hand control advantage, and he spins off. Jab by Ray. Right hand by Ray.

Ray tries to move in the closing seconds, only for Saint Louis to reverse the position. Ray takes control back, but Saint Louis lands a knee.
