Alexei Pergande lands damaging knee, follows it up with submission for first-round finish

With combat sports engrained in his family, Alexei Pergande has a decorated boxing background with over 88 amateur bouts and a Ringside World Championship (2016), along with competing in the 2015 and 2017 Junior Olympics. Also a 2019 WAKO Kickboxing National Champion, Pergande is a perfect 6-0 in MMA, with all of his pro fights coming in the PFL. He fought in June in a unanimous decision win over Mike Bardsley.
Ethan Goss is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt who is regarded as one of the best up-and-coming fighters to come out of Pennsylvania. Goss, who was a two-division champion on the regional circuit, has seven finishes to his name and has won seven of his last nine. Goss most recently fought in April, getting submitted by Brady Huang.
